CRAZINESS!

A lot has happened since my last blog.......... in fact if memory serves me right I never even finished my last blog but, to save you from the endless details I'll just give you some new updates. A while ago I wrote that I was secretly getting filmed for something and I've decided to tell you what that was all about. I got someone to film me dancing so I could send in an application to dance at Busch Gardens in Washington D.C.! Practice started in March and if I would've gotten accepted I would've gotten room and board down there for free, and 500$ a week! I didn't get accepted though because I kind of did it at a bad time, River dance just disbanded and so they hired most all of those dancers which is good for them they are lucky to get so many professionals. It was just bad timing on my part. I went and saw River Dance a few weeks ago and thought it was amazing. I don't know if I like Lord of the Dance or River Dance better. I like how LOTD tells a story but, I like how River Dance has more than just Irish dancing in their show they also have Tap, Russian, and there is this really cool dance that is done with your hands. I don't know what it is called though. I know one of the guys in River Dance so after the show I went to his hotel to talk about Irish dance of course lol and boy was that a trip! it was me and three other people and we walked from Play House up in Cleveland to the Hyatt that the show members where staying at. We got directions from a blind woman, and with my amazing sense of direction we got..............lost! lol. once at the Hyatt which apparently used to be an old arcade I ended up getting us lost yet again and my best friend got us locked in the basement! there were mouse traps and everything it was terrible. In all the hotels I've stayed at I never realized how filthy they can be. My dance teacher had to come get us out, and when she came to open the door the one behind her locked so now we are all really trapped in the basement. we wander into the laundry room, and by the staff lockers where we know we shouldn't be and make it to an elevator that takes us to the kitchen! so we hit the button again and come out where all these security guys are and so we explain our story and everything that happened and that we honestly weren't trying to steel anything it was just an accident so security escorts us to the hotel lobby which is where we wanted to be in the first place! The Seeman's bought me two chocolate martini's which I try my best to hurry up and drink since the person who drove wanted to leave and we where only supposed to stay ten minutes. I didn't really want the second martini but, Mr. Seeman bought it anyway. he really is such a nice guy I don't think he realized I wasn't just being polite when I said I didn't want another one. (I'm such a light weight when it comes to alcohol I really couldn't stomach another one). I was going to try and give it to someone else I knew so it wouldn't get wasted but no one else likes them so I didn't know what to do he just spent like 10 dollars on a drink for me. I ended up drinking it and realized I need to figure out what the proper etiquette is when in that situation. Two hours later the night ended with us getting soaked on the walk back to the car since it started to rain (I was of course in high heels my feet killed for like two days after that since we were like sprinting to the car), and getting lost at least two more times was inevitable (why do people let me be the leader)?  I also got a poster signed by all of the cast that night which definitely put me on cloud nine, and wouldn't you know it I also got a very awkward car ride home since certain members of the party where mad at other certain members of the party since we stayed two hours instead of ten minutes! Like I said it was an eventful night. Even though a lot went wrong I would do it all again if I had the chance:)

I went to the Hard Rock Cafe on Monday for Beezy's birthday. That is her favorite place to eat it was a lot of fun I had never been to the one in Cleveland before. I liked that they didn't have the light's really low, and the music really loud they they normally do in Hard Rock's. we got really good service, and our waiter was great. Which speaking of waiters I'm applying for a position at Max And Erma's for the summer for some extra money hopefully I'll get the job and everything will go smoothly. I'm also going to Mexico in about 2 weeks for four days that should be awesome. I'm off to dance now though so this is all I can type. I'll try and update soon.

I Would Rather Please God, Then Listen To Harmful Music

So much has happened since my last post. I went to Ireland to compete in the All Irelands, had my 21st birthday(I know I'm getting old), got a lecture about music, and my best friend is courting!! oh goodness I don't have enough time to make this a long post but, I will try my best to at least explain a couple things.

Starting with the music I guess. I've mentioned before how much I love music. I would say it was one of my weaknesses. I listen to everything, and anything with a good beat, even if I know the lyrics are bad. well last week my grandma brought up music in religion class and she had me watch this video on rock music, that was about how it can be harmful, and often has hiddening meaning in it. On the tape they quoted things artists said, and played songs from Police, cheap trick, and Led Zeplin just to name a few. (this tape is old so the bands are older) but, they would play a song and then play it backwards and when played backwards it would says things like "down with Christ, all praise satan". It was really eye opening to say the least. I mean think about it you are singing a song that you think is harmless and here you are really worshipping the devil! if you don't know the song is bad then that's different you can't commit a sin if you truly don't know what you are doing is wrong. but, after you find out about it you feel foolish, like you've been lead on, and are just a pawn in someone's twisted game.....it just makes you really wish you would've researched your music better. I love Lady GaGa so after hearing all this I went online and looked up to see if her music is satanic and wouldn't you know it almost everything in her song Bad Romance is a worship to the Egyptian sun god, and all she is singing about is how she's willing to do anything for fame. In a  lot of her photography pictures she is standing between two pillars which is a sign of Free Masonary! She's also pictured upon the Free Masons throne! I almost had a heart attack! The Free Masons main goal/mission in life is to infiltrate the Catholic church. Yea you don't get any closer to the devil than the Free Masons. so needless to say it has been extremely difficult to give up a large portion of my music since I love it so much but, I listen to very little music now, and I research everything before I listen to it. (I'm not a pawn to be played). I have about five cd's out of my collection that are actually okay to listen to. I don't know what I'm going to do with all my other cd's yet.

"And by the way, if you hate to go to school. You may grow up to be a mule"

Holidays are finally over, and it's back to the old grind. Had my first day of school today it went...... okay. I was 20 minutes late to my first class because, I got lost in this maze of a building that is even more confusing than Polsky! (if you can believe that! for people reading this who are unaware of Polsky's layout every floor looks the same! they have a bulletin board on each floor right where the elevator doors open so when I go there I usually take a marker to mark each bulletin board so I know what floor I'm on, it's crazy!). Apparently, they are remodeling Auburn for some reason, everything is torn up, and to make a long story short the room numbers are all messed up! There are two rooms with the same number in two different locations in the same building making things so very confusing. (Especially for someone who already doesn't have a sense of direction)! Instead of making it to my lab class, I ended up at some professor's office. Once I found my class, and it was time to leave I couldn't find my way out of the building! You know the saying where if you keep walking in one direction you'll eventually make it to the end? Yea, well I tried every door and ended up going in a circle coming back out where I started! (I found out later that, that saying only really applies to a forest).I thought I was going to die in there but, thankfully after passing this guy three times (he was the only guy in the whole building, it was deserted). He thankfully told me how to escape the building of death! Okay, now maybe I'm just being a little over dramatic but, seriously I've never been that lost in a building before............well besides that one time in Polsky but, you understand! Hopefully, I will have much better luck finding the room next Monday. After my first class, I met up with Beezy, and we worked out in the Rec. Center for an hour and a half. We did the elliptical and Indian runs. The Indian runs where pretty easy since we didn't have a big group of people. I would like to try it with at least five people sometime though. I think that would be so much fun. My evening class we just went over the syllabus nothing too drastic/exciting happened. I'm happy though that so far I don't have any exams the week I'll be in Ireland so hopefully I won't have to worry about scheduling make ups.

Last Saturday I danced at the Universities, basket ball game that was pretty awesome! I had a lot of fun. I'll try and post a video of the dance we did. I think we did pretty good, are lines are a bit off in certain places but, we just made up the dance that Saturday morning (we where supposed to have made it up before that but, we couldn't since our other practice day got cancelled due to snow). so actually I think we look pretty awesome. Okay I can't figure out how to upload the video! oh well. Four classes tomorrow! busy day! all is well in my little corner of the world. I hope for the same for whoever is reading this.
